   Let’s do one important thing

Дети хором исполняют песню "The Alphabet Song”.

"The Alphabet Song”

Happy, happy we small be

When we learn our ABC`s.

T.: We know very many letters. How many? Do you know?

Children: Yes!

T: Look at these cards at hers and his. (Показываю на картинки в руках учеников.) How many?

Ch.: There are twenty-six.

T.: What’s the first one?

Pupil: Me – the letter A.

Guess a riddle. What is this?

Very red and very sweet

And so very good to eat.

Ch: It’s an apple.

P: Right.

T.: Who’s the second one?

T: Me – the letter B. I’ll sing you a little song.

It’s about a girl’s friend called Bonnie.

Try to help me if you can!

My Bonnie

My Bonnie is over the ocean,                     Refrain:

My Bonnie is over the sea,                         Bring back, bring back,

My Bonnie is over the ocean,                     Bring back my Bonnie to me, to me.

My Bonnie, my Bonnie, my Bonnie,         Bring back, bring back,

O bring back my Bonnie to me.                 O bring back my Bonnie to me.

T.: Who’s the third one?

P: Me – the letter C. I’ll continue the game.

Guess a riddle: who can say?

I can tell you all the day

Time to sleep and time to play.

Ch: It’s the clock.

P:  You are right again.

T.: Who is living in this clock?

Ch: It’s  a cuckoo-bird.

T.: Let us sing a funny song.

      It’s a cuckoo song.

The Easy Song

Cuckoo, cuckoo, don’t try to hide from me,

Cuckoo, cuckoo, I see you in the tree

Cuckoo, cuckoo, it’s such an easy song.

Cuckoo, cuckoo, it’s hard to get it wrong

"Saw you, saw you,” – I hear the cuckoo say,

"Saw you, saw you,” – I think I’m here to stay.

T.:  Who’s the fourth one?

P: It’s me – the letter D. I know many words with it.

But I’ll tell you first of all

About my friend, whom I like best of all.

I have a dog, his name is Jack,

His head is white, his ears are black.

T.: Thank you, dear! Who’s next?

P: It’s me – the letter E. I’ll recite a rhyme about boy called Evan.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven,

Who will help me look for Evan?

He’s not here, he’s not there.

I have hunted everywhere.

P: Flowers here, flowers there,

     Flowers growing everywhere.

T.: Who are you?

P: I am the letter F.

T.: Good! And now, who’s next?

P: Next is the letter G, everyone, look at me.

This is your garden

And I agree it’s fine.

You love your garden

And I love mine.

P: And now the letter H.

Look at this bird in its cage.

It likes that big blue hat,

But not so much as my black cat.

T.: Well, tell me, little kid,

What do you like to eat?

P: Well, I like to eat

What is good and sweet.

It’s an ice-cream,

Starts with the letter I.

T.: I think that everybody likes ice-cream.

But now here’s the letter J.

What would you like to say?

P: I want to say,

My jeans are blue,

My pistol’s just a toy,

And I’m such a fine boy,

I look like a cowboy.

T.: That’s fine. Now, the letter K.

You know such a word as "kettle”,

And you know that funny song

"Polly, Put the Kettle on Polly, Put the Kettle on”.

Polly, Put the Kettle on

Polly, Put the Kettle on (3 times)

We’ll all have tea.

Polly, take it off again, (3 times)

They’ve all gone away.

P: Look, I see a big yellow lion,

What a big yellow lion,

You see a big yellow lion,

What a lion, what a lion!

A lion starts whit the letter L.

T.: That’s right, little one. And now – the letter M.

P: I’ll recite a rhyme "Good Morning”.

The funny mouse likes a rhyme.

I’m calling good morning,

Good morning to you,

This dark cloudy morning

How do you do?

I’m calling good morning,

Good morning to you,

This dark rainy morning

How do you do?

I’m calling good morning,

Good morning to you,

This bright sunny morning, –

Quite well, and you?

P: Numbers – the word begins with an N. I’ll recite a rhyme.

One, two, three, four, five,

I caught a fish alive.

Six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

I let it go again.

P: I’ll recite another rhyme.

Please give me an orange,

Because I don’t like to eat

This hot and nasty porrige.

T.: You see, "orange” starts with the letter O.

P: And "puppy” starts with a P.

Puppy, puppy, come to me,

Let us play under that tree.

T.: And now the letter Q. Please, read us a rhyme about the quail and yourself.

P: I’ve got a tame quail,

My quail has a small tail.

My tame quail has a short beak.

My tame quail is very nice and quick.

T.: And "rain” begins with the letter R.

Let’s sing a song together!

"The Rain Is Raining All Around”.

Who can do this one best?

The Rain

The rain is raining all around,

It falls on fiend and tree,

It rains on the umbrellas here,

And on the ships at sea.

P: Skate and ski together

On a winter day,

Boys and girls – be happy!

You are so gay!

It was the letter S, boys and girls.

T.: What’s next? Who knows?

P: I know. It’s the letter T.

The words like toys, toothbrush and tram,

The numbers – twenty-three and ten,

My teacher, theatre and tree –

Are good and interesting for me!

P: Usually the letter U is found in the middle

Of words – cube, bus and cup

Or something else, like "muddle”.

P: "Vegetables” – starts with a V.

I like the summer season,

When vegetables grow fast

And here is the reason:

The sun is out at last.

P: My watch is running night and day,

But it will never run away.

"Watch” begins with a W.

P: I have a very good crayon box.

And very many crayons.

I draw a taxi and a fox

In bright green, red and yellow.

T.: That was the letter X, and here is Y.

P: In winter you and me,

All children like to ski.

In the evening you and me,

We like to have hot tea.

We like as well to look at the

New Year tree

And sing: "The More We Are Together The merrier we’ll be!”

The More We Are Together

The more we are together, together, together,

The more we are together, the merrier we’ll be.

For your friends are my friends,

And my friends are your friends,

The more we are together, the merrier we’ll be!

T.: The last letter is the letter Z.

P: Tomorrow on Sunday we go to the zoo!

Tomorrow on tomorrow we go to the zoo!

There’s a giraffe there and a zebra too,

A bear and a monkey, and a kangaroo!

T.: We’ve just gone through

The English alphabet.

Let’s sing "The Alphabet Song” together,

Try and help us if you can.

(Дети снова поют песню, с которой начался праздник.)
