P: I want to begin our lesson with wish

T: I wish you success today and every day. 

T: What’s the weather like today?

P1:

T: Great! And what season is the warmest, the sunniest? In what season do we have the longest holidays for all three months?

P2: Summer

T: Right you are. And what are your associations with the word “summer”?

T: That’s right. People usually travel in summer. So, today we are going to speak about travelling. Please, look at the board and read the saying.

Travelling may teach us more than anything else. Sometimes one day in a different place gives us more than ten years at home (Anatole France).

What is the theme of our lesson?

 The theme of our lesson is Holidays and travelling. 

What do you think about travelling? Why do people travel? They want to broaden their range of vision, don`t they? They want to get acquainted with other countries.  Is it interesting?

Today we are going to make a plan of travelling.

Where are you going to travel? When are you going to travel?  Who are you going to travel with? How are you going to travel (means of transport)? What things are you going to take with you?

Let’s work in groups. Make a plane of travelling according to these questions. Present it to the class.
